Thordon's high performance grease and oil free propeller shaft, rudder and deck equipment bearings deliver smooth, quiet operation and reliability required for today's modern yachts.

COMPAC is Thordon's open, water lubricated high performance propeller shaft bearing system primarily for "blue water" operating conditions and offers long life, no pollution concerns, no stick slip, lower friction and easy fitting. SXL and XL offer low coefficients of friction, reasonable abrasion resistance (SXL slightly better than XL) and good wear life.

Thordon SXL self lubricating rudder bearings offer total freedom from grease for all rudder bearing applications above and below the waterline.

ThorPlas deck equipment bushings are designed to withstand radial loads as high as bronze in relatively non-abrasive dry or wet applications.

For repair, conversion, or new build, Thordon has been installed on some of the world's most recognized yachts: Athena, Lady Moura, Christina O, Pan Orama, Mirabella V, Octopus, Limitless and Fadlallah.
